METHOD & ASSUMPTIONS

How this calculator works

Projection compounds contributions using an illustrative annual rate. PPF uses monthly minimum-balance accrual credited at each year-end; NPS / EPF use effective monthly return.

Important assumptions

PPF assumptions are illustrative. Actual contribution ceilings, rates, eligibility, withdrawal rules, compounding and tax treatment vary. PPF illustration assumes deposits before the 5th of each month and annual interest credit. SSY assumes deposits for up to 15 years and simplified yearly interest credit; maturity is commonly 21 years after account opening. EPF/VPF employer allocation and EPS treatment are not included. Confirm provider rules.
